The Plato administrator dashboard is used to configure & manage your Plato installation. After you've set-up your Plato installation the administrator dashboard will be the first place you want to visit to enable additional functionality within Plato.

Accessing the Dashboard

To access the Plato administrator dashboard please follow the steps below...

  1. Login by clicking the "Login" link in the top right of each Plato page using the administrator account you configured during the web based set-up.
  2. After you've successfully logged in click your avatar in the upper right of any Plato page and choose the "Dashboard" link from the drop down menu as shown below...

🚩 In order to see the "Dashboard" link as shown below the account you are logged in with must belong to the default administrator role built into Plato. If your account does not belong to the administrator role you won't have access to the dashboard link or administrator dashboard.

Clicking the "Dashboard" link highlighted above will take you right to the Plato administrator dashboard.

Once you reach the Plato administrator dashboard you'l notice a few things depending on the type of device you are using to access the administrator dashboard.

Desktop

  1. You can return back to the front-end using the home icon in the upper right
  2. You can navigate around the Plato dashboard using the links on the left

Mobile / Tablet

If your accessing the administrator dashboard via a mobile or tablet device the dashboard may look a little different and you may need to expand navigation using an hamburger icon in the upper right.

  1. All navigation is accessible through the hamburger icon in the top right
