Entity Workflows

Would work flows for entities within Plato help you better route & manage inbound discussions, docs, articles, questions. ideas or issues?

As a Plato administrator you can create workflows which would be available to specific users with permission when adding or editing discussions, docs, articles, questions, ideas or issues within Plato.

Each workflow would contain a series of configurable workflow steps which could be used to enforce specific procedures for content approval, review or resolution.

Key Features

  • Change Actions - Would allow you to automatically update fields associated with the entity when the entity is placed into a specific workflow step
  • Notifications- Notifications could be sent to specific individuals when entities are moved or placed into a particular workflow step
  • Edit Permissions - Would allow you to restrict who can edit content within within a particular workflow step
  • Next Steps - Would allow you to control which workflow steps are available to select from when entities are within a particular workflow step

Use Case

  • Help enforce procedures for content approval or question & issue resolution
  • Helps automatically route or assign contributions to the right people
  • Helps notify the right people as contributions are moved through your process
