Twitter Login

COMPLETED This idea was accepted, developed and introduced in Plato 1.0.7. For this reason this idea has now been locked. Questions should be posted here.

Would you like to offer the ability for users to login to your Plato site using twitter?

Currently Plato requires you have a local account to login & contribute. Whilst we protect user passwords you may wish to not store any user password and instead require users to login through a 3rd party provider such as twitter who will manage the users password.

If you would like to see a twitter login option please up vote this idea.

Use Case

  • Allows users to login through twitter (no need to create another account)
  • Reduces risk as user passwords are not stored in your Plato databases
